The Crew Cut: This is perhaps the most common short hairstyles for men, also known as the Ivy League cut. It works magically in blending the thinning hair with the rest of the hair and is best suited for balding men. This hair cut allows for more length towards the front hairline, while being tapered at the back and sides. This haircut looks sophisticated and stylish and is worn with élan by many celebrities like Jude Law.
The Buzz Cut: This short hairstyles for men involves buzzing or grazing the hair to very short lengths towards the crown or the prominent balding spot. You can vary the length of the hair across the entire scalp to create an edgy and sophisticated look. This hair cut has been popularized by Hollywood actor Jason Statham and is in sync with his urban bad boy image.
High and tight cut: These short hairstyles for men have been popularized by the military men and are adapted mostly for its practicality and ease. The hairs at the back and sides are extremely short which blend with slightly longer hair at the crown. The more extreme versions do not allow blending of the hairs at the crown with the sides and back and there is a clear and noted difference in the hair lengths.
Taper Cut: Another short hairstyles for men and the hair at the crown can be left long enough for styling or cut short and tapered towards the neck.
